This involves estimating the amount of energy that can be generated by a solar power system over a specific period, typically a year. The energy yield calculation considers solar resources, solar panel efficiency, and operating conditions.

Micrositing: Micrositing is selecting the optimal location for the solar panels within the solar farm. This involves analyzing the solar radiation data to identify the best location for each solar panel, considering factors such as shading, orientation, and the site's topography.

Performance Modeling And Simulation: Performance modeling and simulation are used to predict the solar power system's performance under different weather conditions and to optimize the system's design.

Financial Analysis: A financial analysis determines the project's feasibility. The cost of the solar panels, installation, and maintenance, energy sales revenue, and connecting to the grid are all considered.

It's worth noting that the accuracy of the solar radiation analysis is crucial, as it forms the basis for the project's financial viability, and the accuracy of the prediction will directly affect the project's profitability.
